We continue with our Lenten series, “Filled to the Brim,” leaning into abundant life, or life “full of the Spirit,” in the way God hopes and intends. Pastor Lori is on vacation this Sunday and we are thrilled to welcome Bailey Brawner as our preacher this week! Bailey leads us through a reflection on the Parable of the Prodigal Son as we work to be open to God’s perspective and really allow ourselves to be known by God.
Bailey Brawner (she/her) is a queer writer, speaker, and LGBTQIA+ activist who lives and works at the intersection of faith and sexuality. Bailey moved from Alaska to San Diego with her dog, Oakley, and now lives with her Fiancée Dani and their four fur children in Serra Mesa. Bailey is best known for her content creation on social media, namely TikTok, where she creates videos for her 85K followers. Across her work, Bailey lives into her call to create spiritual spaces for those who have experienced religious trauma, knowing that church does not and can not only exist in a building.
