Today is the 1st Sunday of Advent! To help kick-off the season, at 4 pm, we will offer Advent crafts in the Social Hall. 5 pm marks the start of our potluck; Thanksgiving-inspired re-creations are welcome. After dinner, we will have a program, gather outside to light our tree, and sing Carols. We look forward to seeing you and your friends!
As you prayerfully consider your stewardship to PB UMC, please turn in your yellow pledge cards into the church office or offering plate by December 6 in order for the Finance Team to best serve you and our community for 2016. We thank you for your continued prayers, presence, gifts, service, and witness that build our church community.
On December 6, “The Best Place to Celebrate Christmas!” will be presented by our PB UMC songsters during both Sunday services. Please plan to attend and support our children’s singing ministry.
Our Voices of Praise choir will present a Christmas Cantata on Sunday, December 13th, during both of our services. Invite a friend to come attend this musical lead into the Christmas season!

Upcoming opportunities to spread Christmas cheer! Buy warm socks for our neighbors in need, help put together a basket for a needy family, sing carols for housebound members, help serve a warm meal; you can do all of this in December.
