The altar flowers today are given by Louis in celebration of the wedding of Elizabeth and Luciano.
Prayers & Squares quilters ask that you stop by between services, and help tie prayer knots for 4 baby quilts as well as one for Tom B’s mother.
The Lunch Bunch meets today at Panda Country in Clairemont (family friendly event).
Looking ahead, October 29th is going to be a busy day:
• Trick or Treat for UMCOR! Adults, please bring plenty of change! Kids, wear costumes that don’t require masks.
• Stay for lunch and a presentation on Violence Within Religion after the 2nd service. Child care provided.
• Youth will attend a Halloween Dance at Foothills UMC. See Dee for more information.
It’s hard to imagine, but planning for our Project Grace Thanksgiving Meal, on November 22, has already started! We will need approximately 20 cooked turkeys to feed our guests. If you would like to donate a cooked, sliced turkey, please sign-up on the sign-up sheet in the entry area starting on October 29th.
