The altar flowers today are given by Dick & Gayle VS to celebrate their 62nd Wedding Anniversary which takes place today!
The UMYF and Best Group are invited to Dee’s house for a pool party after the 2nd service. Bring your swim suit, towel, goggles, and floaties if you are a novice swimmer. Next Sunday, the UMYF will have a lunch outing starting at 11:30 am.
We will hold a Membership Orientation Lunch on September 10. If you are interested in learning about our ministries, meeting with the Pastor, or meeting other church members, please RSVP with the church office so we can order enough food!
On September 17 a workshop discussion will be held on the “Clobber Passages” debunking Biblical myths about LGBTQ identity & relationships. Please join us at 5pm for a salad and baked potato dinner, to be followed at 6pm by our worship. All are invited to attend: skeptics, theologically uncertain, LGBTQ+, everyone!
