If you have any extra flower vases, please bring them to the church for the Flower Ministry. Our inventory is low, and we need more vases to continue to share our floral blessings!
The altar flowers are given by Bill E in celebration of the 81st birthday of Denny H. Altar flowers are also given by Beth T in honor of the 70th birthday of Peggy W (a true survivor!) and in memory of Dee B’s mother, Shirley R.
There are openings for altar flowers on October 7, 14, & 21. Cost is $50. Contact the church office to sponsor a day.
The Best group will meet for lunch at next Sunday, Oct 7, at 11:45 and then will return to church for an activity. Contact Dee to RSVP.
If you would like to become a Reconciling Process Coach, to help coach other congregations thru the Reconciling process, please sign up for a training on Saturday, October 13,, 9 am – 5 pm at Foothill UMC in La Mesa. Register by October 12th. For more details, see your October Beach Breeze, page 3.
October 14 will be the date of the Grace & Dine Lunch Bunch. Everyone, including children, are welcome! October’s location will be a 5 Guys, 1020 Garnet Ave. RSVP with Marcia M or with the church office.
