Episcopal Address on Immigration
The Los Angeles area Bishop of the United Methodist Church, Bishop Minerva G. Carcaño, will be giving an address about social justice and immigration this Sunday, February 15th beginning at 2:00pm at First United Methodist Church, San Diego.
Caring Ministries Conference
The Lay Servant Ministries of the California Pacific Annual Conference offer this Caring Ministries opportunity to all clergy and lay persons who wish to participate on February 28th at Vista United Methodist Church.
Mardis Gras Celebration at PB UMC
Please bring your family to join us at the church on the evening of Tuesday, February 17 between 5 and 7pm for a pancake dinner to celebrate Shrove Tuesday. Cost is $5 for ages 13 and up; $3 for children 12 and under.
GriefShare Support Group
“GriefShare” is a support group for those who have recently lost a loved one. Sessions start on February 15th.
Spiritual Intensity: Acts Bible Study (and more) from Lent to Pentecost
PB UMC’s Readiness 360 group is working to respond to the needs of our congregation in order to develop a deeper spiritual intensity. A new study of Acts begins during Lent that includes by study and relationship-building.
All Church Family Camp
All are invited to join others from Pacific Beach UMC at Camp Cedar Glen the weekend of March 6-8, 2015. Church Family Camp is a great time for church folks to get to spend time together.
Hark! the Angel Sang Off-Key
The young songsters of PB UMC have been working on, and having fun getting their Christmas play ready for the afternoon of December 14th at 3 pm. The play is “Hark! the Angel Sang Off-Key.” Come join us as the Herald angel choir learns about getting to proclaim a very special birth, and how to really listen for God’s message. Christmas Eve at PB UMC
This Christmas, we enter again into the story of Christ’s birth. It is wonderful to celebrate Christmas each year so that we can be reminded that God is continually making things new; that our God is a life-giving God. Please plan on coming to worship on Christmas Eve and consider inviting a friend or a neighbor.
