Christmas is often described as “the silly season,” and this may seem no wonder as we fight crowds and traffic for the right Christmas present or the perfect ingredient for Christmas dinner. And while we like to think the first Christmas followed the famous lyric of a “silent night,” the reality was likely very different. But that first Christmas still shone with beauty under the light of a star, and our own “silly season” can be filled with meaning and joy despite the craziness that surrounds us.
We will present a service on Christmas Eve (December 24th), at 7pm. Our traditional candlelight service at 7pm will include singing of Christmas carols, an inspiring message, and lighting candles. As is our tradition, the service will end with candlelight and carols around the tree in the courtyard.
