Today we celebrate All Saints, when we remember the saints of our tradition, our world and our lives. In the midst of the “ordeals” of our modern times, we lean into God’s promises and give thanks for the legacies of those who have gone before us. We name church members and loved ones who have died in the past year, lighting a candle and tolling a bell in their honor. We also name other souls, near and dear to our hearts, who are no longer present with us on earth but now home in God’s care.
Scripture: Revelation 7:9-17
