Called into a Ministry of Service, Reconciliation and Inspiration: Living a Life of Worth and Human Dignity

Today is Laity Sunday when we lift up and celebrate the ministry of the laity.  And PBUMC has remarkable laity!  We are reminded once again that ministry is not just the function of ordained clergy.  It is the calling of every Christian as we seek to share the inviting, healing, transforming love of God in the world.  Ken Brown, our Lay Leader and Church Council Chair, will be offering the sermon this week.  We are so blessed to have Ken’s leadership each and every day and I know we will be inspired by his words and witness this Sunday!
